One night in Bangkok....

semi-overcast

Spent the day exploring the highlights of Bangkok with 'M" from BKK Tours. Had a great time - transporting via taxi, Tuk Tuk and canal boat.
China town was huge, the Grand Palace inspiring but one of the main highlights was the reclining buddha. All of us weren't prepared for just how big this buddha was. The tour ended with sunset over the Wat Arun with drinks and snacks on the deck of a posh restaurant overlooking the river - not much of a sunset unfortunately, but still lovely when lit up. But our fantastic day didn't end there - it finished with a nail-biting, white-knuckled ride in a Tuk Tuk with a driver that thought he was Wayne Gardiner or Casey Stoner. M kissed the ground when she entered the hotel lobby!
