The road to Meteora

Delphi 1

Delphi 1

Delphi 2

Delphi 2

Today was mainly a travelling day. Starting early I boarded the bus for the long drive to Kalambaka, which is the town at the base of the Meteora monasteries. On the way we had a short stop at Delphi the site of some more ruins from ancient Greece. As bad as this sounds at the end whether the columns are Corinthian, Ionic or Doric there does get a sameness about them. Tomorrow is the Meteora monasteries before the long drive back to Athens in the afternoon.

That's all folks!!
