Well after yesterday's great day today tested my patience. Started off by receiving a message from M that her bike had been stolen from West Footscray station. At Edinburgh airport the flight to Dublin was delayed by over an hour. You would think Aer Lingus would supply us a complimentary lunch since because of the delay, but Noooooooo just starve! Once I finally arrived in Dublin the airport shuttle driver advised me to get off at the wrong stop. Once I determined my location I realised I was ~20-30min walk from my hostel. I started the walk and the heavens just opened up. Tried to take refuge in a O2 store but the store manager was not pleased with this and asked me to move on. Thanks mate! Finally checked into my hostel at 3:00pm. I was wet and had not eaten since breakfast. Those who know me would realise that when I am hungry I get grumpy. Well I was very hungry!

Well it did improve from there. After settling into my dorm I had the latest lunch I have ever eaten. Then between showers I took a short walk around Dublin to orientate myself then decided to escape the inclement weather by seeking refuge in an Irish pub. I suppose in Dublin it is just a pub! I had a warming Irish stew for dinner complimented by a pint of Guinness. All is good now. Might settle down with my book for the evening and turn in for an early night.
