M & T left London yesterday to fly back home to Oz leaving me for the next 4 weeks to travel solo. So far I have managed to feed myself, do some laundry and not miss the train. However the quality of this blog will no doubt decrease (in particular the photos).
After escorting M & T to the Heathrow express I made my way to Kings Cross station to catch the train to York for 2 nights. York is smaller than I expected but nonetheless is a very picturesque English town. I have enjoyed walking the old city walls and the snickelways (medieval small streets and lanes). Weather has been a bit Melbourne like, sun then clouds then light showers then sun with a biting cold wind all in one day. The locals are dressed in light clothes for a spring day whilst I am wearing 3 layers and my bulldogs beanie.
My B&B has a great wi-fi connections so I have finally managed to download the first 5 episodes of Game of Thrones S3. Already watched 2 last night :)
