Crammed everything that we hadn't done before in our final two days together. A and T viewed the bones and animals of the Natural History Museum while M immersed herself in the history of fashion and jewellery of the V & A Museum. London Eye was great - not the best weather (BBC can be so wrong!) but never the less, still an excellent view of London. Saw the church of the Templar Knights. It felt we were on the set of The Da Vinci Code expecting Tom Hanks to appear around a corner. Good views from the Monument commemorating the great fire of London in 1666. That night A braved the Jack the Ripper walking tour. We all loved the eclectic Portobello Road markets, particularly the food - Peri Peri chicken & Chorizo rolls! A leisurely cruise on the Thames followed with a stop at Greenwich to see the Royal Navy College and Greenwich meantime. Really interesting and picturesque - until the heavens opened up and M was sure she saw a few flakes of snow. Our last day in London was the coldest day yet of our trip!
