Spent the last three days exploring all that Rome has to offer - the Colosseum, the Roman ruins (there's lots of them!) and (the opulence of) the Vatican. Staying in a little apartment close to Piazza Novona and in the centre of just about all of the attractions. Visited the crypts decorated with the bones of 4,000 capuchian monks - fascinating - and of course, the Trevi Fountain. I was rather excited about seeing it run because when I came 20 years ago much of it was behind scaffolding! As you can see, been doing much photography at night. Also visiting the best gelaterias and coffee shops as recommended by the internet so definately eating our way through Italy. Off to Singapore on Friday morning.
