Riding a 'bike' at Lido, Italy

Started the day at Palazzo Ducale and Doges palace museums. Really worth the effort. Absolutely stunning rooms, ceilings and paintings. T was captured by the large art and the prisons of course! Next went on the Vaparetto (public transport boat) to Lido - the island where Italians go to visit the beach. Had a great swim there at the 'free beach'. The other beaches are paid beaches where you get little beach huts and umbrellas! At least had a cheapish lunch there. Also hired a 4-wheeled bike there. Adrian steered and pedalled while M just pedalled and T sat between us. A bit hairy on the roads particularly when we had to negotiate a roundabout while trying to keep on the right hand side of the road! Also saw where the Venice film festival is held.
