Staying warm outside a Salzburg Cafe - they give you blankets

Just spent a couple of wet, cold days here in Salzburg. Yesterday it poured all day with a maximum temperature of 7 degrees celcius. When I came 20 years ago it wasn't too much different. We found out on the Ice Caves tour today that Salzburg has on average, 180 rainy days, so I bet tomorrow when we are about to leave, the sun shines! Other than the rainy days, we spent quite a nice day today at Schloss Hellbrun this morning on the 'trick fountains' tour. T was delighted about getting wet, even in the freezing cold. This afternoon we took a bus tour to the Ice Caves, apparently the largest ones in the world. It was really good - unfortunately, couldn't get some photos inside - not allowed and also a bit dark to do so anyway. Lots and lots and lots of climbing up icy paths and plenty of stairs - so rewarded ourselves with extra Mozart Chocolate balls tonight to make up for it!
