Pizza, Pisa, Gelati headache and Florence

semi-overcast 28 °C

A stop at Miracle square to view the odd Leaning Tower. I think there were even more souvenir sellers that I remember from my visit 4 years ago if that’s possible! Another hour in the coach before hitting Florence for lunch and the whole afternoon. Couldn’t fault our (Aussie) tourleader who highlighted an ideal route on the map before sending us of on our own. First pizza and gelati in Italy today – both were better than I remember. That slightly charcoal crust with garlic laden tomato sauce melted in your mouth. The Duomo, as always was awe-inspiring.
