Magical Mont St Michel

Mont St Michel

Mont St Michel

Just spent a magical night in Mont St Michel. Like the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre, dusk was the best time to appreciate the awe inspiring view of the Mont and the surrounding sea. Watching the tidal surge come in was brilliant, a site we will never forget. T loved it too, but was probably even more captured with watching a Mercedes Benz left in the lower carpark where it wasn't supposed to be when the tide came in! We could almost hear Bill's (A's Dad) voice saying ÓMG'while watching a sport Mercedes rapidly being engulfed by the tide. Travelling has been quite smooth sailing so far with just a minute's panic this afternoon when we (and a number of other tourists) thought the bus forgot to pick us up at the bus sstop and drove straight through. We enjoyed a great italin dinner in Paris tonight - maybe in Rome we'll have a good French meal!

Just an update, the electrical cord for our PC has died so will only have limited access to internetfor the moment!
