Cloudy with a chance of Great Wall!

rain

Our last day in Xian was spent at the small Wild Goose Pagoda, having lunch with a Chinese family (and had a go at making noodles!) - it was like Uncle Wong's! We then visited Gao's Courtyard - a high ranking official's house as it was in the imperial times, the Great Mosque - a blend of Chinese and Middle-East and Muslim Quarter where we finally got to taste the local dumplings. We concluded our tour of Xian at the train station to meet our overnight train to Beijing. The train ride was okay - other than being next to the toilet:((
Our first day in Beijing was spent at the Great Wall - visibility was fairly ordinary so much photoshopping was required! We took the cable car up to the wall and tobogganed down.
