Singapore sling!

Oh so hot!

Just completed four days in hot and humid Singapore. Now sitting at the airport waiting to board the plane to Melbourne to bring our great adventure to a close. T cried last night because she didn't want it to end!
M got her wish and had breakfast with the Orangutans at Singapore Zoo and also got to check out the Night Zoo which was fantastic. Chinatown was a highlight for all of us for various reasons - great shopping and bargaining (M got her Jade necklace) and brilliant food. Had Char Sui Bo and fried chicken wings exactly how Nan used to make it. Loved it so much, had it for 2 nights. The light show over Marina Bay sands last night was spectacular.
We've travelled for 57 days, had countless train and bus journeys, navigated hundreds of streets, demystified local public transport ticketing systems (myki is easy!) and dragged our backpacks up and down stairs only to get lost and having to backtrack - but we wouldn't change a thing - it was an unforgettable journey.
